I have elected to use S2Member by restricting access to posts by categories. With that said, level ‘0’ users have access to all articles published on Monday but only higher level users have access to articles published on other days. Thus, my free level only gets access to Monday articles.

However, I want to place some articles that are published on Monday in a category that is restricted by general rule. Is there a way to make Monday’s posts available to everyone and only restrict access for the rest of the week?

My hope was that in setting up general restrictions there would be an option that says when multiple categories are assigned to the same post or page restrict access by the highest level required to view or allow viewing based on the lowest access level assigned to a category. In this way I could have assigned a category “Free” to all Monday articles and everyone could access them regardless of other categories they have been assigned. I did not see such an option – it appears only the strongest restriction level is applied.

Also, I hoped that I could override the category restriction by changing the Post Level Restrictions? on the Edit Post page to Require Level #0 (or higher) but changing access on this page does not appear to grant access as desired.
