Hey, My host, WPEngine, offers a CDN for static files across the site. From WPEngine’s side, the only controls I have are domain checkboxes that enable or disable this CDN. The conflict I run into occurs on my S2member downloads page, where all of the download links suddenly become garbage links if I enable the CDN. I presume (with no real knowledge) that this is because the automatic configuration of the CDN identified filenames in the URLs but wasn’t able to actually do anything w/ them, yet still replaced the links. I’m not sure if it’s involved, but I use Amazon S3 storage instead of local hosting as part of the s2member package. With CDN turned off, everything works fine. It’s not totally necessary that I find a way to enable this, but it’d be nice if there’s some solution I may be able to try. Thanks! |
