I figured it out. There is an option in the general options tab under member modification that automatically redirects user to the Login Welcome Page if they click on Edit Profile.

You can turn it off.

I wish you could have it redirect them to different page. I use my login welcome page as a table of contents for the users and having the inline profile editing there would be funny.

Put it on my wishlist.
