Thanks for the reply, I just deactivated every plugin except s2member and also tried a default theme but no improvements. However, in case it’s of importance, I wanted to mention that when I am logged in as admin, I am able to accessthe login welcome page homepage which it says is automatically protected by S2member. However, what I can’t access are page links that include the manually placed page level restriction setting. Does this extra info lead to any other insights about the problem? Right now I’m lost as to how to proceed since I’m not seeing signs leading to the other troubleshooting factors mentioned in the link provided and the last thing I want to do uninstall s2member and lose the settings that are in place.

It would be great to hear what you suggest from here.

Thank you.

Thank you for the reply.

Perhaps changing the fixed term extensions from yes to no will help. However, the account was still allowing access after the change. Do you know if this take a certain amount of time to go into effect or will this change only apply to future members but not current ones?

I was also debating whether I should change the Membership EOT behavior from demote to delete. Since I don’t allow access for free subscribers, I assume demote is still ok. The only reason I didn’t select delete is that I also have a simple press forum and I’m concerned that if I select delete all of that person’s past posts will be deleted as well. Do you have any insights on this as well?

Thanks again.

Update :) This is all working perfectly for me now. I don’t know if my system was having a glitch or what but whatever the case, thank you!

Thank you for the reply. It was helpful to see where the problem may be stemming from but I still haven’t succeeded in making this work. All the encryption settings seem to be place on both ends so I’m not sure what is wrong. I then decided to just turn off all the encryption settings on both ends and see if the long-code button could work. However, this time the paypal error message reads: “Invalid Regular period. You must specify valid values for the A3, P3, and T3 parameters for a subscription.” The problem is that as far as I can tell everything is specified for those values. I see in the code I am using as a test that there is an a3 of 1.00, a p3 of 1 and a T3 of M.

Not sure why this long form code isn’t working either. The short code works fine and I don’t get any error messages about encryption or the values.

Again, I’m only doing this to try to get the IP address off the customer’s paypal page. Any leads on what I should do next would be great.

Thank you.
