Adding QTY to PayPal Pro Recurring Form

We are using S2Member and PayPal Pro to manage a dance schools student membership. We have some students that are siblings and thus their parents are paying for both of them. At the moment the parent has to complete two separate payments and create two separate accounts with different email addresses. When a parent is paying for siblings on the same level how do we add a QTY button so they can pay for two subscrptions on the same account?

And that said. Is it possible to pay for multiple levels on one account?

Hi Dan,

It’s not currently possible to have two recurring subscriptions on one s2Member account. We’re working towards improving this in the next major release of s2Member.

In the interim, for new members you could dynamically configure the payment shortcode with a total recurring price that reflects the number of siblings + membership (see this thread). You’d need to add a step before displaying the shortcode that asks the new member how many siblings they want to add to the membership and then on the second page you’d use some PHP to calculate the total cost and then display the checkout form with that total calculated price.

For existing members that want to add siblings, your only options are to have them create a second s2Member account or use non-recurring payments (e.g., have them make a one-time, non-recurring payment using something like the Capability Buy Now forms: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Capability (Buy Now) Forms).
