Hello – I have launched a wordpress site with S2Member that has members from all over the globe. The billing address for the Authorize.net ProForms which are generated have State/Province and Postal/Zip Code marked as required fields. This however does not apply to all countries so some users are having to trick the system by entering in garbage into those fields to complete their transactions.

How do we remove the *Required on State/Province and Postal/Zip Code and…will Authorize.net mind if we do so?

Thank you! Need assistance ASAP!!!! Please help!

Hi Aaron.

Another user had asked about disabling those fields in the pro-form. This was Jason’s response, which may be useful in your case: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/authorize-net-proforms-can-i-disable-fields/#post-20569

I hope it helps. :)

Thank you – one more question…I have tried everything to protect one page on the site and it just will not add Level 1 protection to it. Everything else is protected perfectly.

Is there any sort of hack I can add to force the protection of that page?

I think there may be some sort of theme conflict because the page in question is set as the home page in the theme settings. But we have a wordpress static page in front of it.

Thank you and please let me know as soon as you can.

Yeah, there may be that conflict you mention.

So it’s set as the home page in the theme, but it’s not really the home page in practice?

Have you tried the URI restriction for it too? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions[/hilite]

Hi Cristian – I have created forms for monthly and yearly subscriptions and have allowed coupon codes. I need assistance or guidance on what to add to the shortcodes to ensure that the coupon code only applies to the initial charge and in no way affects the recurring billing. Can you please point me in the right direction or provide an example of that?

For Example: 25$OFF would be a promo code that would make the first month charge on sign up $0.01 but the recurring billing of $25/mo thereafter would remain and not also be $0.01/month.

If you could let me know it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Aaron

Hi Aaron,

To apply the discount only to the first month, you’ll need to make sure you generate your Authorize.net Pro-Form with an Initial/Trial amount that matches your recurring amount.

So, in Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Authorize.Net® Pro Forms -› Membership Level # Forms, you would set “I’ll offer the first 1 month @ $25” and then you’d do “Then, I want to charge $25 Monthly“. Set your description and any Custom Capabilities (if you’re using them) and then press Generate Form Code.

Now, when you create your Pro-Coupon code, you need to make sure the coupon code only applies to the Initial/Trial amount (the $25 that you set above). As per the example in Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Pro Coupon Codes -› Coupon Code Configuration File:

SAVE-10|10%||ta-only ( 10% off an Initial/Trial Amount; the ta=”” attribute in your Shortcode )

So to create a coupon that subtracts $25 from the Initial/Trial amount, you would do this:

SAVE-25|25.00||ta-only

Now, anyone who enters the SAVE-25 coupon into the Pro-Form will automatically receive the first month free and then be charged $25/month thereafter.
