Buy Now button linked to form submission

Hi,

Wonder if you can give me an insight into how I might implement this functionality?

I’m looking to link the submission of form data to a Paypal Buy Now button. Essentially user will pay to access a restricted page and then submit a form, for example it might be an entry to a competition. The key part is that when the user has submitted the form, they wont be able to return to that page and submit again until they have purchased another entry via the buy now button.

I’ve done a search around credits, tokens and competitions but see nothing obvious hasn’t been developed as yet.

Hi Michael,

You could use a Specific Post/Page transaction (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Specific Post/Page (Buy Now) Forms) to “sell” access to a page that contains the form. You’d then need to implement your own method of determining whether the user has already submitted the form, possibly using some kind of one-time token tied to the IP address of the person submitting the form.

That second part would be a custom feature that you’d need to implement on your own. As per our support policy (please see s2Member® » Support Policy » Outside Scope), we are unable to assit with custom features.
