Can I do this using S2 member?

Hi

my employer is looking for me to set up an area where we can upload into WordPress copies of confidential documents relating to customers. These documents (eg invoice statements and our area managers feedback sheets) would be uploaded to categories one for each customer but only that customer should be able to log in and see their own files.

There would be no membership charge to our customers so paypal integration would not be needed.

I thought creating individual member-ships would be easier than creating one hundred different password protected memberships and having to log into each one everyone month to add new documents. this way we log in once put a link to the document into a wordpress post and click to add it to the right category.

Am I right in my way of thinking.

Hi Ron,

Yes, s2Member can be used for this scenario. s2Member itself doesn’t have any file upload features, but you can use the WordPress Media Library to upload your files and then add links to those files directly to the Client Page for the client. (Each client would have their own private page that they see when they login.)
