Hi,
New customer – just implementing s2members Pro with my new WordPress site. From my static HTML (old version of site) I have CCBill button code on my join page, styled to my site design. Can I just keep using that code? I have only 2 membership options (one month recurring, and 6 months), so I have no need for the robust button configurations of s2members, though I’m pretty impressed with how versatile the system is (I’m a past “MagicMembers” survivor). Or alternately, is there a way to ignore the shortcode’s design and style it my own way?

Bottom line, my most pressing concern is that if I just use the standard CCBill code I have now (still goes to the forms correctly), will that somehow interfere with what s2members is doing with user data?

Hi Shawn.

Thanks for the kudos! I’m glad you’re liking s2Member. :)

About the buttons, yes, you need to use the shortcode for them or the transaction won’t work with s2Member. To customize the button, you can use the image attribute in the shortcode. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ccBill® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes -> image[/hilite]

I hope it helps!

Yes, I saw the image variable, but I liked the hover state using CSS, but that’s a small design detail. I used the image and it works fine. Thanks.
