I am interested in your software plugin, but have a question. I am planning to use a third party program (called IPBWI for WordPress) that will integrate WordPress with the Invision Power Board forum. That third party plugin dynamicly replaces the following function in wordpress to make the synced registration work: wp_new_user_notification. The developer of that program told me to check to see if the s2Member product needs to replace that function too, since there will be a conflict if both programs need to replace it. Please let me know if s2Member needs to replace wp_new_user_notification. Thank you.

Hello,

s2Member does use that function, however if another plugin handles it, s2Member will simply show the following message in the Email Configuration section (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Email Configuration):

Conflict warning: You have another theme or plugin installed that is preventing s2Member from controlling this aspect of your installation. When the pluggable function wp_new_user_notification() is handled by another plugin, it’s not possible for s2Member to allow customization of New User Emails. This is NOT a major issue. In fact, in some cases, it might be desirable. That being said, if you DO want to use s2Member’s customization of New User Emails, you will need to deactivate one plugin at a time until this conflict warning goes away.
