Confirmation Email not going out

I have everything setup and is working ok but one thing. Subscribers don’t receive the signup confirmation email which is very important. I have the email log plugin and they show which emails are going out but not showing the confirmation emails going out anywhere. What did I do wrong in the setup?

I have exactly yhe same problem – all works but no email registration email with username, password etc.
