Hello,

Is there a way to have coupon codes that only work with specific member levels

The coupon option will show on every level but the system recognizes which member level is allowed to use that particular code?

I don’t want to have to manually edit the Paypal Pro “Forms” everytime a new code is created for a new “Promo”

Regards

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

This is not currently possible with the Pro-Coupon codes. However, we will take that feature into consideration for a future version of the plugin.

Hi Raam,

I thought this would have been standard based on S2 members offering different access levels example

Level 1 gets 5% on joining
Level 2 gets 10% on joining
etc

The current coupon offers a generic option rather than level by level basis unless there is some short code i am missing something

Regards

Stuart

Hi

just also noticed this which may help with the current issue

“coupon=”SAVE-10″ Default/pre-filled Coupon Code. This is optional, and the Coupon Code ( if supplied ) must exist in your Coupon Code configuration.”

If this is as mentioned “Pre-Filled” does it allow the user to delete the code and enter another?

Regards

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

If you add the coupon code to the coupon= attribute in your Pro-Form shortcode, the coupon code will automatically be added to the Coupon field and applied to the checkout amount when the Pro-Form is loaded. If the user wants to change the coupon and apply a different one, he can certainly do that.

Hi Raam,

I think you missed the 1st question :-)

Need the facility to add codes per level only, so that if you enter a code for level 2 in level 1 code box the system will recognise that the code is incorrect for that level

Also another little question
Is it possible to have the coupon code to work for the 1st year only with out offering a trial?

Regards

Stuart

This is not currently possible with Pro Coupon codes. However, customizing s2Member to add this functionality is certainly possible and if you require this feature we recommend posting your job on jobs.wordpress.net.

s2Member has a full set of hooks and filters that make customizations possible for anyone experienced with developing WordPress plugins.

You can set coupon codes to expire by adding a date after the price (e.g., CHRISTMAS|5.00|12/31/2020 ( $5.00 off, expires Dec 31st, 2020 ). Please see the examples at the bottom of Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Pro Coupon Codes -› Coupon Code Configuration File.
