Hi

As a web designer this is my first time with a subscription site and also first time with w-p, also a php newbie – so I need some help with these problems. It’s mainly the geography of where things are stored on the server/folder structure – I can’t find anything to edit it direct, especially so with S2member files.

I have customized fields for the registration process, further into the build the client decided he wanted to get rid of some of these fields entirely and also make other data collected optional.

I have changed the fields but the form is still displaying the old titles. Where do I go to edit the form to update it?

Problem 2 – I built a customized registration form and I primarily need the text appearing below the log in/registration/etc boxes to be bigger – where do I go to adjust these?

Problem 3 – In S2 members customized registration forms I have built a footer, but the information is showing blocked to the left, I would like it to display across the center bottom – can you help.

Kind regards

Mary Anne

Hi Mary Anne.

I have changed the fields but the form is still displaying the old titles. Where do I go to edit the form to update it?

I guess you’re using the s2Member custom profile fields. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields[/hilite]

When you edit them, make sure you save them clicking the Save All Changes button at the bottom of the General Options page.

Problem 2 – I built a customized registration form and I primarily need the text appearing below the log in/registration/etc boxes to be bigger – where do I go to adjust these?

Are you using a pro-form? If so, you can customize the template a bit copying the template for the pro-form to the theme’s directory, customizing that copy of the template, and then referencing it from your pro-form’s shortcode with the [hilite mono]template[/hilite] attribute.

Pre Sale FAQs » Is it possible to modify s2Member® Pro Form templates?
[hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes -> template[/hilite]

Problem 3 – In S2 members customized registration forms I have built a footer, but the information is showing blocked to the left, I would like it to display across the center bottom – can you help.

How did you add it? Could you show us the code? (Remember to put it inside [hilite mono]code[/hilite] tags when you post it)

Thanks. :)

Hi Christian

Thanks for your reply

I did do the save all the changes and it didn’t save?

Problem 2 – No am not using a pro form I don’t think. And as we only just upgraded to pro, I don’t as yet know where these are nor how to edit them and where to save them to…..sorry… being very thick.

Problem 3 – Here is the code that I built.

<div id="#footer" style="background position:inherit; background-image: url(http://www.soccerdive.co.uk/wp-

content/plugins/s2member/images/login_clear_box.png); layer-background-image: url(http://www.soccerdive.co.uk/wp-

content/plugins/s2member/images/login_clear_box.png); "><a href="http://nunet.co.uk/" target="_blank"title="Site developed by

NuNet.co.uk"><img src="http://www.soccerdive.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/s2member/images/nunet_dev.png" width="137"

height="100"></a><a href="http://nunet.co.uk/" title="Site developed by NuNet.co.uk"><style="footer:change{ color:white !important; text-

shadow:1px 1px 3px #EEEEEE !important; }class="style 1">

Not sure then… When you create a new custom profile field and save it, does it get created? If so, editing existing ones should save as well.

Okay. What file are you customizing then?

Problem 1 – Custom Profile Field – as you said, you have to save first on the pop up screen and then on the main page save all changes at the bottom of the page – remember to do it twice. Solved.

Problem 2 – Am in s2Members>General Options> Login/Registration Design – I want to change the font size generated by S2 Member

http://soccerdive.co.uk/wp-login.php

&

Problem 3 – as stated change footer

Great. :)

Problem 2 – Am in s2Members>General Options> Login/Registration Design – I want to change the font size generated by S2 Member

You can customize that page a bit from here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login Registration Design[/hilite]. The Overall Font Size would be the setting you want to edit.

Or just edit the CSS from your theme’s styles.css file.

Problem 3 – as stated change footer

Footer for the login/registration page? That’d also be done from [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login Registration Design[/hilite]

I hope that helps. :)

Hi Mary,

That font size is not generated by s2Member. The /wp-login.php page is a WordPress page, not an s2Member page. s2Member provides a few hooks into the WordPress login form so you can change a few of the styles/fonts, but any additional changes (or changes to specific text on the login form) would need to be made manually with additional CSS styles. Please see Styling Your Login on the WordPress Codex.
