I’ll keep it short. Is there a way for me to customize the login-widget? Specifically, I would like to shorten the width of the fields and buttons. Here is how it currently looks on my website (the widget is located on the right sidebar and you’ll have to scroll down a little bit): http://guitaringenuity.com/guitar-courses/beginners-guitar-course Thank you for your help in advance. Fire this into your style.css: aside.widget.colors div.widget-wrap {padding: 10px !important;} |

I suggest you bookmark this topic so you can see the answer. :) I’m not sure what the problem could be that you’re saying though. Meaning, I don’t really understand your question/problem. Could you please clarify a bit? Thanks, |

Eduan yeah i found this posting.. ok in the dashboard i have done everything asked, by making a membership page and a signup(login) page. in the general settings i have made all necessary custom options required. and saved all options. the membership page is done and looks wonderful. the login page, and im using a free version, when i click on the tab on my site http://www.powerwomenmag.com is blank. so i signed out and tried to see it again and still blank. when i sign in as admin and look for it under the dashboard i can again see it ONLY when i click on the link inside the dashboard. so im wondering how do i get the signup (login) to show up on that page? is there a code to place that i am missing? to put in the HTML so it will show up so if people want to purchase a membership level they would have to make a username etc? |

OK so the problem is that it has content, but it is only visible if you look at it through the admin page, correct? I should clear up, the Login Welcome Page which is introduced by s2Member, is only the page to which members go after they login, it is not the login page, so if you don’t fill it with content you will not see anything. The login page for the free version of s2Member can only be WordPress’ default login page, which you can find here: And the register page would be: Hope this helps. :) |

O thank you …so it is 2 different pages.. so on the login page i would put the login and the register would be on it own page? or can i put it on same page? if i have already done the register options , which i have, then i just need to make a page for that and it would automatically pop up? thank you for all your help ..im just so new at this it tends to get overwhelming at times |

On the login welcome page you only need to put a welcome message, like:
The login page will be located under: And the register page will be located under: This cannot be changed without s2Member, without s2Member these pages cannot be changed or modified (you can only modify the look). Hope this helps. :) |

Thank you..I got the login side bar to work..thank you..it let me register and everything sent me a password however when i put in info to login it send me to a page that 404 not found. now i go back into wordpress and look at settings for the sidebar login, since im using free version and check to make sure my redirect pages are correct..which i tried 2 ways..once with the http:// and once without. and then tried to log back in ( and when i say log in, i used a fake name and another email account i have) and same thing both ways…once i login in it takes me to page not found..so i decided to use my smart phone thinking well ive logged in and out as administrator and as fake person so many times it is confused. logged in on smart phone and it showed the front page like i wanted but in 2 seconds it went to page not found again. but i seen the front page of my site..just dont know how to make it stay on that page.. so in essence once someone logins in i want them to just go to the front page of site http://www.powerwomenmag.com thank you again..your a life saver! |

Beags, thanks for the answer. Bear with me please – I’m using Catalyst/Dynamik Theme. So I think it doesn’t go inot the Style.css (unless I’m wrong). Where would the snippet of code when you use the Dynamik theme? Thanks a bunch. |
