Does S2Member offer any sort of daily reports

Our client’s current system provides them with a daily report of new members, expired members, free members, etc. Basically a daily snapshot of how well the site is performing.

This is their last holdout before we can (FINALLY!) convert them to S2Member.

Does S2Member have any sort of daily (or whatever) reporting capability?

If not, can you point me in the general direction to look for something like this? I think we might have to implement a cron job and use the wordpress members functions and maintain our own data, but really hope there’s an easier solution.

s2Member does not currently have any sort of daily reporting functionality. However, EOT reminders (notifications of when a member is going to expire) is something we have in the works for the next major release of the plugin.

You could certainly write your own plugin that extracts the member information from the database and then generates a report. The data you’ll need to extract can be found in the wp_usermeta table. (You’ll want to search for rows that begin with a meta_key of wp_s2member.)
