Download Keys Corrupted When Editing Page

I have no problem setting up secure downloads, whether using php code or short code (s2member_file_download_key)

but whenever I EDIT that particular page and re-save it, the entire key link gets corrupted and
ends up looking something like:

Setup.exe&s2member_file_download_key=[s2Key file_download=”>

Do I have to recreate the entire key links everytime I save a page?

Are you editing this page with the Visual editor or the HTML editor? If you have PHP code on the page, you can’t use the Visual editor — you must use the HTML editor, otherwise the code will get corrupted.
