External Login/check membership level?

Hi Everyone,

Im near of launch a web service, and everything is coded by our team in PHP/CSS3 and HTML5. We don’t want to use more time to make our homemade membership system, and because of all the good reviews about s2member we want to use it.

The problem is that our web service work outside of wordpress install. For example.

http://www.example.com -> Main WordPress install.
http://www.example.com/webservice/ -> Our web service directory.

We want to know if we can include a few files, or use the s2member api to:

– Login the user in our web service.
– Check the membership level, and with this allow the user to see just what he/she can.

S2Member can do this?

Hi Joan,

s2Member is a WordPress plugin and it relies on the WordPress framework. It’s possible to use the s2Member functions outside of WordPress itself by calling the necessary include files from WordPress to load the plugins.
