File Download – Password or Paid

Hi there

We are planning to provide our members with some digital content.
This digital content should be password protected.
Since we have some B2B customers we\’d like to be able to send them the URL to the Post/Page/Category. And give them the password so they can download the content.

Furthermore there should be a paid option.
So our customers would be able to download the file for a certain amount. Payment via PayPal, perhaps.

Is this doable with s2member?

Hi Joe,

s2Member allows you to set the maximum number of downloads allowed (see Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Basic Download Restrictions), however tracking the number of downloads per-file is not currently a feature of s2Member.

A plugin can certainly be written to do this using the s2Member File hooks; we recommend posting a job at one of the following sites:
