Hello, I need some help (although you helped me too much tday, thank you) … I am publishing an ebook with flash. What I do is that my customers can see the flash, which is a “flipbook” without being able to download it to their computers. It’s a .swf file, addition of all components that allow it to work. You can see the example here: http://www.bolsaatualcance.com/blog/capitulo-1/ I have solved it by putting the folder that contains all the components insides of / s2member-files /. The BIG problem is that when these files are inside the secure folder, eboook doesnt work at all well, I get the impression that security does not come out (I really dont know). Here is the file inside the folder sure: http://www.bolsaatualcance.com/miembros/capitulo-3/ (bottom is in an unsecured folder, it works much better) [username: Andreac pass: wersdf888] The pages are not finished loading, and everything works slower … Excuse me for ask help so specifically but I’ve tried everything and can not find solution, I’m a little desperate. It occurred to me to just put flash files in a folder outside the secure folder (/ s2member-files /) but I worry that anyone can find the url and download the file. (Again, I’m new at this and would appreciate your help TOO) Thanks!

Hi Nicolas,

When you say “eboook doesnt work at all well”, what do you mean? How is it not working? I looked at the links you provided, but none of those SWFs are loading from the s2member-files files.

In this link: http://www.bolsaatualcance.com/capitulo-3/

The first one has its files in the s2member-files folder, the second one has its files in other folder…

The first one takes more time to load the images.. In some cases the images just don’t show up, and the pages are black… (that doesn’t happen in the second one)…

I’ve seen this in 3 computers, and it is the same…

Hi Nicolás.

When I loaded the page, I monitored the HTTP connections and saw this one:

http://www.bolsaatualcance.com/blog/?_s2member_seeking%5Btype%5D=file&_s2member_seeking%5Bfile%5D=Capitulo+3%2Fbook.swf&_s2member_seeking%5B_uri%5D=L3dwLWNvbnRlbnQvcGx1Z2lucy9zMm1lbWJlci1maWxlcy9DYXBpdHVsbyUyMDMvYm9vay5zd2Y%3D&_s2member_req%5Btype%5D=level&_s2member_req%5Blevel%5D=0&_s2member_res%5Btype%5D=file&s2member_seeking=file-Capitulo+3%2Fbook.swf&s2member_level_req=0

Are you logged in with an account that has the required access level to download that file when you load the page? The vars in the URL say that the level required is 0, a free account, so just being logged in should be enough.
