Hello

I have been using s2m for a few months now and everything works fine. I have had generated 1 paypal button as this was all that was needed so far.

However, today I upgraded to s2m pro and after the upgrade, I tried to create a paypal button but, upon clicking the “Generate button code”, nothing happens, no code is being generated.

FYI, I am talking about Level1 and I have no free subscriptions available.

Can you please help?

Dimitri

Hello Dimitri,

It sounds like another plugin may be conflicting with s2Member. Could you please try deactivating any recently installed plugins one-by-one and then retesting the generate button?

Hi Raam

We haven’t installed any plugins since we installed s2m and it was working fine before.

Could please you try the following steps:

– Make sure Deactivation Safeguards are enabled (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards) and then disable and re-enable the s2Member plugin
– Clear your browser cache
– Restart all open browsers
– Try generating the button again

Tried that, still no joy. I click the button, I get the little animation but nothing happens.

If you haven’t made any configuration changes specific to the s2Member Pro add-on, could you try deleting the s2Member Pro add-on and then see if the PayPal button generator starts working again?

From the sound of the problem, it seems like either a server configuration issue or something related to your browser (JavaScript, browser cache, etc.). If your web host made any recent changes on the server (such as a software upgrade or changes to the Apache or PHP configuration), that could explain why things suddenly stopped working.

Do you know if your web host recently upgraded or changed anything?

I deleted the pro add on, nothing.

I deactivated every single plugin, nothing.

Deactivated and reactivated s2m, nothing.

It just doesn’t want to generate any buttons.

Highly frustrating.

As far as I know, my web host hasn’t done anything but again, would they tell me if they had?

I’m going to escalate this to Jason (the lead developer) and see if he has any ideas.

Thank you for your patience.

Thanks for the follow-up Dimitrious.

Glad you were able to solve your problem, could you please share the theme you’re using for future reference on incompatible themes?

Thanks.

Hi Eduan

I didn’t mention anything because it is a made up theme and wouldn’t be of help to anyone.

OK Dimitrios, it’s understandable. ;)
