I want to be able to limit my users to only create one or two groups, is there a way S2member allows that? I have the Pro version.

Hi Trinity,

What are these “groups” that you’re referring to? s2Member doesn’t have any “groups” and neither does WordPress. Perhaps you’re using a different plugin that is creating the groups?

Are you referring to BuddyPress groups?

If so, you could try using the URI restriction to control access to the URL that creates the group, but that would not count the number of times. You’d need to hack your installation to customize it this way.
