Hook After Level Upgrade or New Regristration

The ws_plugin__s2member_during_paypal_notify_during_subscr_signup_w_update_vars hook seems to work well with new registrations but not with those users who are already registered on the site and want to upgrade their level.

We are trying to have a fixed EOT Time for membership renewals and new registrations on the site. The hook ws_plugin__s2member_during_paypal_notify_during_subscr_signup_w_update_vars has been working with those users who register on the site for the first time, but not with those who are already registered but want to upgrade their level (for those, the EOT is empty).

Any idea why this is happening? An alternative hook that can be used?

As Jason mentioned in the other post, what’s most likely happening is that you’re setting the EOT and then as part of the upgrade process s2Member is deleting the EOT. So, you need to make sure you’re updating it after that point.

Perhaps try ws_plugin__s2member_during_paypal_return_after_subscr_signup_w_update_vars. You can also look through the code to see what makes the most sense.
