I try to search with the top menu search box, but never end up in customer support forum. Can you offer some guidance on how we find info on topics that might be helpful to us?

Thanks.
Christine

Hi Christine.

The site search includes results from the Customer Support forum, unless there isn’t a result in it for your query. What did you search for?

Hi there…

yes, I see that it is supposed to search the customer support forum also… but it seems I rarely get back anything useful, so was starting to wonder. I guess I’m not very good with my key words for searching. This has happened to me a few times, so hence the question. I search with very basic terms, layman friendly, so perhaps that is part of the issue.

I believe in this instance, I searched for Unsubscribe button, or unsubscribe invalid, or along those lines.
I didn’t really get anything back.

I’ll keep trying… but I’ve been a bit frustrated with the search process… since your message remains at the that states “make sure paid members search in the customer support forum… ” and is there, even after you’ve searched… so you tend to click on that link in the paragraph again, thinking you are not there… (when no results come up, or you can’t tell if the results are from the forum or not)…

I guess it’s mostly user error… but I hate always creating a new topic when there is a good chance something else is there.

Thanks for your reply.

I see… Well, it does take a few variations of the search query to find a topic with the answer you want, I find myself trying different things sometimes, while others I just need one try. I tried searching for unsubscribe button and got results, not sure why you didn’t… http://www.s2member.com/search/?q=unsubscribe+button

And there’s always the possibility that you’re the first to ask about something, so it could be that you do need to start a thread, in which case we’ll be happy to help. And if there was a previous thread that you need to read, we will probably link to it.

Thank you for searching first, though! It does take some load off our shoulders but, if that doesn’t give you results, ask away. :)
