Hi,

I’m sure you’ve been asked these questions before so apologies, but I can’t find a clear answer.

I have a wordpress site and want to integrate S2Member with Aweber so that new members are auto subscribed for our newsletter. we offer a free membership using the PayPal Pro free registration.

So, I have tried to follow the instructions at http://www.s2member.com/kb/aweber-email-parser-for-s2member/ but they make no sense to me.

My membership login form is created using the PayPal Pro free registration short code.

If I am meant to enter unique custom fields, I don’t know where to find them.

I do not understand how to write the rule sets in aweber for the email parser, and I cannot find anywhere that explains it. I don’t know what all the different symbols mean… >\s \n + .?.| etc etc

Can someone please help??

Hi Brooke,

The meaning of the symbols are not important. You simply need to create the Custom Email Parser inside your AWeber account and copy the rules directly exactly as you see them.

After configuring Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› AWeber®, s2Member will send an email to AWeber to subscribe new members to your AWeber list (that Custom Parser reads the email that s2Member sends to AWeber and then parses the contents of the email, pulling out the persons name and email address and adding them to your AWeber list).

I’m not sure what you’re referring to by “custom unique fields”. Integrating s2Member with AWeber does not require any unique fields at all.

Hi Raam,

Thanks, I have tried again, added the list ID and I have now matched the email parsers and saved it.

However I just tested by becoming a new subscriber and I didn’t get added to Aweber or receive a confirmation email from aweber or the newsletter.

I also use Formidable Pro Forms for their advanced form options, which I need so members can fill out detailed assessment forms – I am about to integrate these form submissions with Aweber too, to separate lists. Are you aware of any clash between the plugins?

regarding custom fields, in General Options -> Email Configuration, I have customized my email messages to both the new user and the WP admin. the email is now subject: [Kendall Migration Australia] New Member for both.
the content of the admin email message contains custom registration fields, namely: Visa Interest:

I didn’t know if I had to add the custom field into the email parser for visa interest to get recorded in Aweber.
