Hi there

I am trying to integrate s2member Pro on my website. I purchased this about 18 months ago for another site and have upgraded to a multi-site licence. I have installed all the latest versions on my website. I am having the issue of instead of returning the autoreturn ‘welcome page’ after purchase, it is going to the standard check your email page

Thank you! ( you MUST check your email before proceeding ).

I seem to remember from working with this plugin before that this arose because I hadn’t purchased the Pro version. I have checked my plugin and it is showing that s2Member pro is installed and displays PayPal Forms etc which seems to indicate that the Pro version has been installed correctly. What do I need to change to get the reponse page to be the welcome page and not the standard ‘check your email page’ that comes with the free version?

The website is http://www.IzziwizziKids.co.uk/community. The specific registration page is http://www.izziwizzikids.co.uk/community/join-today/mummy-bloggers. The Paypal part of it all seems to work fine. It’s just the landing page after payment.

Thanks

Al

With the Pro version of s2Member you can add a little attribute to the shortcode of the pro-form/button, which allows you to control the landing page after a successful checkout.

It’s the success=”” attribute, basically you add

success="http://www.izziwizzikids.co.uk/community/join-today/mummy-bloggers"

to your button’s/pro-form’s shortcode.

For more info, check under WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal® Buttons -> Shortcode Attributes ( Explained ) -> success="" for more info on that attribute.

Hope this answers your question. :)

Hi Eduan

Thanks for the fast response. I have tried adding the success=”” attribute to the button with the correct welcome page URL and it’s still not directing to that page. It is still directing back to the standard check your email page.

What else could I be getting wrong?

Many thanks

Al

Could you please paste your full button shortcode?

Thanks!

Hi Eduan

Most certainly yes. Here it is:

[s2Member-PayPal-Button level="1" ccaps="" desc="Izziwizzi Kids Blog Member" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="GBP" dg="0" ns="1" custom="www.izziwizzikids.co.uk" ta="0" tp="7" tt="D" ra="2.99" rp="1" rt="M" rr="1" rrt="" rra="1" image="default" output="button" success="http://www.izziwizzikids.co.uk/community/vip-members/play-fest-plus-dashboard" /]

Hope you can help.

Hi Alison,

When I try to visit the success URL that you have in your button (http://www.izziwizzikids.co.uk/community/vip-members/play-fest-plus-dashboard), I’m redirected to the Membership Options Page.

The success URL must be publicly accessible for the user to redirect to it, because users are not automatically logged in after making a purchase. If you want to try adding automatic login, see this thread on the old forum: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14211&p=29918#p31548
