Is PayPal Pro Required?

Sorry for the simple question, but I couldn’t find an answer searching with such few keywords. I am building a site using s2member, and currently the PayPal account used by the plugin is a PayPal Pro. Is a PayPal account required for s2member to work, or can I remove PayPal from the checkout options leaving credit cards the only paying options through Authorize.NET?

Thank you for your inquiry. I’m very sorry for the delay in response. Thanks very much for your patience with us over the weekend. Is a PayPal account required for s2member to work, or can I remove PayPal from the checkout options leaving credit cards the only paying options through Authorize.NET? No, PayPal Pro is not required, even for s2Member’s Pro Forms. The only thing that s2Member absolutely requires PayPal for is accepting Credit Cards on-site.
