Not sure if this was ever working on this particular site or not.

I am developing two membership sites concurrently and another for a client that I intend to recommend this plug-in to.

Here is what is going on. When i log into one of my s2 powered site, my configuration options do not have the expand/accordions for each option section. It is just one long page of options. I could swear that it was working when I first uploaded it and now after numerous config changes, it is wonky. The options seem to set just fine, it’s just a huge PITA to have to scroll through option after option to locate the ones you need to work on.

Any idea of what needs to be fixed to get this back to normal. I have tried a default WP theme with no help.

Hi Michael,

If you use the JavaScript debug console in Google Chrome or Safari to view the Administration page with broken panels, does it give you any messages?

Raam,

Yes, I fired up Firebug and watched the net console, what I found was several 403 forbidden errors on what appeared to be s2member css file requests. After some extensive research into my VPS logs, I determined that the ownership of files was not right. I had installed WP via Fantastico, removing the installation and installing everything manually fixed the issues for me. Filezilla was reporting a different owner:group than what I was seeing via SSH.

Before I did this I did try chown sep_admin:psacln -r on all wordpress core files. This broke the installation completely and forced me to re-install the entire WP core, database and plug-ins and themes.

Everything now appears to be working normal. Good thing this was not a production site eh?

Mike
