I had the MailChimp Integration working fine. Now it has stopped. When I test the registration process using one of my other email addresses, I get the “Please Confirm Subscription” message from MC, then, I get the “Subscription Confirmed” message from MC. However, I cannot find the newly subscribed email on my MC list.

Again, all worked fine for a while. Then, I added the hack to add more of the address information to MailChimp list using the code described here.

Testing went well and the added hack was working fine. A few days later I noticed that new subscribers were not being added. I removed the S2hack php code from the mu-plugins area and retested. MC is not recording the new registration to the MC list even though it sends emails.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi William,

If you’re receiving the “Please Confirm Subscription” email, that means the s2Member -> MailChimp integration is working properly. If you click the confirmation link from MailChimp, receive a “Subscription Confirmed” message, but then don’t see the email appear on your MailChimp list, that would indicate a problem on MailChimp’s side.

Everything past initiating the subscription (i.e., telling MailChimp to subscribe a user, thereby triggering the “Please Confirm Subscription” email) is handled by MailChimp and not s2Member.
