I am using s2member Pro. I have 2membership levels ( Active & Affiliate).
In order to qualify as an Affiliate member, the PRACTICE must have an Active Member. Ex: If the PRACTICE has usr1,usr2,usr3,usr4… and usr3 is an Active member, then anyone from the PRACTICE is qualified for Affiliate membership. How do I check and achieve this? PLEASE GUIDE ME.

Hi Clifford.

I’m sorry, but I’m confused, I’m not understanding your question. Could you please explain it in more detail, and with examples, if possible?

Thank you very much. :)

Thanks for the response Cristián,

I have 2 Membership levels.
Level1. Active Member , Level2. Affiliate Member.
If an user wants to register for Affiliate membership (Level2), its mandatory to have an Active member(Level1) in his Practice.

Ex:” YPO Practice” has usr1,usr2,usr3,usr4 as its members. Now anyone from the “YPO Practice” is eligible to become a Affiliate Member(Level2 Membership). usr5 should not be allowed for Level2 membership.

Clifford,

You would need to write your own PHP code to check for such a conditional. s2Member does not have any concept of “practice” in the way that you’re using it. However you’re grouping those users to define a “practice” would be part of the conditional that you create.

Once you’ve defined what constitutes a “practice”, you’d then need to check the roles of the members within that practice and determine if any of them have the role of s2member_level1 and only then allow registration for s2Member Level 2.

Such a customization is outside the scope of our support policy. If you’re not comfortable with PHP programming, we recommend posting your job on jobs.wordpress.net.
