In addition to free and paid memberships, we also want to sell some other paid content and features. The payment gateway is likely to be CCBill (which I know S2Pro support) One example is that we might sell a $20, $50 and $100 “ticket”. Once purchased, this would allow the user to access a calendar/form which will allow the user to register for a webcast/special event by choosing an available slot. I know we could achieve this by protecting the registration page and selling a custom capability to allow access to this page. However, what if the user wished to purchase a second ticket and register for another event? How would we achieve this and also stop the original purchase being used to register for more than once webcast event? i.e. can we set things up to allow custom cababilities to be purchased more than once? Alternatively, is there an easy programatic way of generating psudo-custom capabilities using GUIDs perhaps? Ideally, we would prefer not to use a separate eCommerce solution, but may add one in at a later date. The second question is therefore, is there any documentation/examples on how to integrate S2Member with a WordPress ecommerce cart so that when a product is bought from the eCommerce cart then for example capabilities can be added. Many thanks, Ken |
