For some reason, when logged in as an admin (not sure about other users), all pages on the main site take about 15 seconds to respond. After which they load normally.

This doesn’t happen on any of the sub sites and everything works normally after logging out.

I deactivated s2member and everything worked fine again.

What is really strange is this just started happening a week ago without any changes or updates having been made. I just upgraded to the latest version but the problem persists.

Any ideas?

Hmm… I’d try these first: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips

Tried switching themes and going through all the plugins. No difference.

The server check tool did throw up this error:
[ERROR] cURL Extension / Or fopen() URL
One or more HTTP connection tests failed against localhost.
Cannot connect to self over HTTP — possible DNS resolution issue.

I’m getting my hosting guys to look into it. Would that be likely to be the cause?

My hosting guys sorted that. Server check now comes up perfect.

Doesn’t seem to have made a difference though…

It’s now seeming like it might be Adrotate that’s causing the issue.
I thought I had deactivated it too but maybe not.
Sorry for bugging you guys.
