On-demand incremental (add-on) content

New to WP and s2memberPro (so please be patient) –

We would like to set up our membership site so that on-demand “add-on” pages of premium content can be purchased “a la carte” by existing members. For example, say we have silver and gold membership levels. We would like to offer existing silver level members the ability to make incremental (specific page/content) purchases of pages/content that is typically only available as part of the gold level membership. This way they can save money by buying only the specific premium-level content that they need/want, and not have to bite the bullet and pay for the full gold membership.

Is this type of incremental (a la carte) content purchase functionality available? Thank you.

Hi Charles,

Yes, this is possible through the use of Custom Capabilities. You can give pieces of content (i.e., posts or pages) specific Custom Capabilities and then sell those capabilities to existing users through the Capability Buy Now form (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Capability (Buy Now) Forms). Whatever Custom Capabilities the user has on their account will determine what content they’re allowed to access.
