I will only be using open registration, and want to protect some pages of my website from non-registered viewers.

Any pages that I restrict sends me to the registration page even for REGISTERED users. I made triple sure that I’m restricting everything at level #0 and #0 alone and all registered users should have access to these pages. They don’t.

I’ve tested restricting both on “Page edit” as well as the “s2 member restrictions options” screens.

This is probably a bug.

If you’d like a repro case, feel free to go to reviewsbyadam.com and register.

I’m protecting the pages “Men’s Dating Advice” and “Women’s Dating Advice”. These pages remain locked even after registration, whereas the “reviews” page, which is also locked but is my welcome page does not remain locked.

Just an update – it even locks pages at the admin level (i.e.) when I’m navigating logged in as the admin, if I have a page that’s restricted, I cannot access it.

Posts work fine. The whole issue is with pages.

Tried by category, tag, page id, as well as restricting using the dropdown on page edit screen. Always the same issue…

URI restrictions also give the same result.

I was able to fix my issue by using shortcodes and modifying the pages that I wanted restricted. This is still a bug that should be looked into though, I don’t think your page restrictions for level 0 is working correctly.
