Hello,

When any user tries to join any membership level where payment is required for paypal get the following error

Error #1000. Generic processor error: 11581-Profile description is invalid.

The site allows you to enter your details, redirects to Paypal gets you to login and confirm future subscription paymenst then redirects to the site with the above error

Any Ideas?

Regards

Stuart

Please contact PayPal. It sounds like your PayPal account does not have PayPal Pro enabled.

Hi Stuart.

After that move and the new API request, did you update all your integration fields? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details[/hilite]

And check if your PayPal Pro account is using the PayPal Pro API, or the PayFlow API, please. If the latter, you’ll need to fill out the fields here too: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayFlow Account Details[/hilite]

I hope it helps.

Hi Cristian,

Due to the move that is why i re-issued all API keys and updated the PayPal Options

Ah ok, so you already confirmed that you have the version of PayPal that uses the PayFlow API. Just wanted to make sure of that and that you updated the info after the change you mentioned.

Error #1000. Generic processor error: 11586-DPRP is disabled for this merchant.

Are you selling a subscription? Even if you have PayPal Pro you need to pay extra to sell have the ability to sell subscriptions… That’s what the DPRP thing is: Direct Payment Recurring Payments. Have you asked PayPal support about it?

Is that not part of payflow?

Again as mentioned this was working prior to the the VPS move also

Maybe PayPal detected that your site has a new IP address since you moved to a new VPS and now they need to reactivate PayPal Pro for the new IP address. I know PayPal reviews sites before approving PayPal Pro, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case.

The DPRP message that you’re seeing is coming from PayPal, not s2Member.
