Hi guys,

We ran the requested automatic upgrade last night to v121201, and since then, although the plugin says it is active and all of our configuration is there, it is not working at all. All the shortcodes, restrictions, widgets etc. are non-functional. Could you please advise on a process to repair or reinstall *without* losing any current information. Will the upgrade process described here safely maintain settings while upgrading files?

The site is dsmusic.com.au. Please let me know if you would like credentials to examine the configuration.

An answer ASAP would be much appreciated!
Thanks,

– Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Could you try deactivating s2Member, and then reactivating? WordPress may not have updated the database to include s2Member after the update if the connection failed.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly :)

I’ve tried –
Deactivate/reactivate (couple of times)
Delete folder from server, copy new one over (as per upgrade instructions, couple of times)

with no luck :(

All of the admin interface is showing fine, the settings are still all in place, we’re just not seeing any of the actual page integration coming up.

Andrew,

Do you have any caching plugin enabled? Also, did you update any other plugins, or perhaps your theme when you updated s2Member?

Also, just as an extra step. Have you made sure that you also installed the pro version? Remember you gotta install the free and paid versions separately.
