I just implemented the free registration Pro form on my site. I tested it and it works wonderfully, except for one hiccup. The new user’s role(before logging in) is set to “none”. When the user does log in, he/she gets a role. However the name of the role is “Subscriber”. The odd thing is, the user has all the privileges of an s2member role, it just seems to be called “subscriber”. A bug maybe?

PS: I changed the value of the “level” attribute in the Pro form shortcode to “1” instead of “0”.

Hello Roman,

Well I believe the s2Member levels only extend the subscriber role, could you try accessing something that requires level 1 and see if the user can access it. Thanks.

Hope this helps. :)

Yes they can. In fact the role shows up in the “s2member level 1” category in the “Users” page. I just thought it was weird that the role was named subscriber. Everything seems to work though.

OK Roman, glad there wasn’t any problem. :)
