I’m setting up a template site, which is likely to be replicated many times. I realise we’ll need s2Member Pro for that in the long run, but I’m testing with the free version for now.

One thing I have to do is change the Page Restrictions for 20+ pages. I can’t see a way to do this without editing each page manually. I thought there would be additional choices in the ‘Bulk Actions -> Edit’ mechanism, but I don’t see any s2Member settings in there. Is this a Pro-only feature?

I did find this page: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/can-one-mass-edit-ccaps-to-many-pages/ – but that refers to ccaps, not simple page restrictions.

I’ll be more than happy to upgrade to Pro if it allows me to do this. If not, any chance of a heads-up on where that might sit in the feature request list?

Thanks,

David.

Hi David,

You can add comma separated list of Page IDs to the restriction boxes in Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Page Access Restrictions. There isn’t currently any “easier” way of restricting multiple pages, unless you use something like a Category or Tag restriction (e.g., if all the pages have a specific tag or are in a specific category, you can simply restrict the entire Tag/Category).

Thanks – I did look at Category / Tags as a solution, but sadly they’re missing from the Bulk Edit options too! At the moment, all I can see when editing multiple pages is Author, Parent, Template, Comments, Status. I’m guessing there are hooks in place for plugins to add to this, which is where I was hoping to find the s2Member page restrictions.

I’ll have a search and see if there are any other plugins available which do something similar – like for example editing the category or tags, which would provide a workaround.

Thanks,

David.
