I’ve installed S2 Membership 120622  with WP3.4.1
When users apply for a membership and pay their subscription fee with paypal, their request is processed, paypal withdraws money; a new user is created, but that user has no role assigned; therefore they can’t post comments or use the forum (Simplepress) since they need to be at least subscribers. As of now, I’m forced to change the role manually. How to fix this?

Hi Christopher,

When you say the user “has no role assigned”, how are you checking this? If a user signs up through an s2Member-generated button or Pro-Form, then they will be assigned the level (i.e., role) that was selected during the generation of the button/form (s2Member Level 0 – 4).

When you edit one of your paying users, what s2Member Level does it say they’re assigned?
