Hello Brad,

You can find the MailChimp integration under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› MailChimp®.

Regarding the file protection, yes, check this video for that: Video » s2Member® File Downloads (Complete Series)

Hope this helps. :)

Too easy!

How about spam registrations?

Is there a captcha plugin or something to fix this?

Hello Brad,

If you have the pro version of s2Member then there is a parameter you can pass in to pro-forms which implements a CAPTCHA field, although there are plugins like Blue Captcha (recommended) that do this with all the forms, although this plugin doesn’t integrate with pro-forms.

Hope this helps. :)

Simply needing to protect the video from being viewed not downloaded because its already protected by Vimeo pro.

Is there a shortcode i can wrap the video in to protect it and leave the text public?

Well you can always try s2Member shortcode conditionals. Which you can find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Simple/Shortcode Conditionals.

[s2If is_user_logged_in()]
Put the video that is only to be accessible while logged in.
[/s2If]

Put the text outside the code so it is always viewable.

Hope it helps.
The conditionals are such a powerful feature of s2Member!

Didn’t work.

When i use the url to that post after wrapping the video in the shortcodes you provided me, it redirects to the login/registration page even if i change the post level restrictions to zero.

Hum… maybe a tech support can find an explanation because i use that code extensively in my site without any problem. I have my videos on Amazon S3 through Easy Video Player 2 but that is what i do.

Here is an example: http://scrapbookcampus.com/webinars/woct2012/
If you are not logged in, you will see a sale pitck. If you are logged in, you will see the video.

I did also need to change the post level restriction from 0 to blank.

Question: Was wondering if i could show a picture of the video with a sign that its for subscribers only?

At present, its simply text with no indication there’s a video to subcribe for watching!!

Sure you can.

[s2If is_user_logged_in()]
Put the video that is only to be accessible while logged in.
[/s2If]

[s2If !is_user_logged_in()]
Put a graphic or an indication of “please log in to view this video”
[/s2If]
Put the text outside the code so it is always viewable to everyone, logged in or not.
