Registration Payments Without PayPal Pro

Hello,

Is there a way a registration can only be completed after a member has paid its membership and without using PayPal Pro-Forms?

We would like to integrate the payment as part of the registration (basically the way PayPal Pro-Forms works). Does anyone know if this is possible or PayPal Pro Forms is the only way to do it?

Yeah, for registration and payment to happen at the same time, it’d be with the pro-form.

Just to sum up, is there a way that a user can only be registered on the site if the payment for its membership has been completed?

And in the case that the user will be registered regardless of the payment state, is there an option in the S2Member settings that only enables that user after the payment has been confirmed by the admin of the site?

We are worried that users could register on the site even though they never completed the membership payment (PayPal buttons).

When registering before payment, s2Member create their account as a free subscriber (s2Member Level 0) until it has received confirmation of payment from the payment gateway, at which point the account is changed to the proper level (e.g., if they signed up with a Level 2 Pro-Form, their account would be assigned to Level 2 once payment confirmation has been made).

Right, like Raam says, free registrations would put the user at s2Member Level 0, and he’ll only see the content you make available to that level. if you protect the paid content at s2 Level 1 or higher, a level 0 user won’t have access to it.

So you can have Open Registration enabled and have users register free, but only those that paid for Level 1 or higher will see the protected content.
