How do I reorder field order on s2 pro reg forms ?

Also where do I go to change the default fields?

I’d like to disable username.

A video tutorial on how to use & customize s2 pro reg forms would be so appreciated whenever possible.

Thanks.

You can change the order of the custom profile fields from here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields[/hilite]

You can customize the pro-form’s template, if needed: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes (Explained) -> template[/hilite]

I’ll let Jason know about your request for the video.

Here’s a thread that may help with the username field thing: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=14806

I hope that helps. :)

Thanks Cristian,

I need to have the fields in the following order on s2 pro reg form.

I know how to add a new field like country.

I cannot find info on how to arrange default fields and s2 custom fields in the order I require.

How do I do this ?

Thanks for the video request!
Regarding the Username field, this cannot be disabled. Each User needs to be associated with a Username.

You can try using the email as the username with a plugin like this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-email-login/

Thanks Jason & Cristian.

I’ve gone through the info you posted.

Some stuff is still not clear to me and I hope you can help.

I have used the s2 pro forms shortcode and created an inline reg page.

By default the page creates field description verbage including the title “Create Profile”

1. How and where do I change the "Create Profile" to "Create your own Profile"

Once I know that, I can figure out making out other field label/description changes.

2. How do I reorder the way fields appear on the reg form ?

Right now it appears as:

fname | lname | email | username | password and then a section called 'Additional Info' containing other fields I created in s2 pro like 'country'.

Can I change the field order to:

fname | lname | email | country | username | password

If so, please let me know where and how?

Thanks

Editing the pro-form’s template.

[hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes (Explained) -> template[/hilite]

It has some limits, though, but that’s probably what you’ll get you closest.
