Thanks Raam, Just curious, for themes that do not support your shortcodes, if you could give me the code to add to my themes functions.php, I could add it and test if the shortcodes work. Is there a function to add to functions.php to get the user profile shortcode to work? |

Yes but not PHP code. Just a link or shortcode to logout and return to current page. Thanks. |

Fantastic Jason. I’m sure you’ll find a way to add this as another admin feature to the already impressive array in a future release. Thank you. |

That would be very helpful. These additional features will make s2member pro and even more attractive solution. |

The recommendation to use SI Captcha was somewhere in Jason’s post here but now I see it does not work with pro forms. |

Figured it out. As there is no apparent s2 shortcodes to add the s2 login form inline on a wp page, do the following… 1. Install Exec-PHP from wordpress 2. Create a wp login page and add the php code call to s2’s pro login widget to the page html.
Done. Inline login form. Style it any way you please. |

Thanks Cristian, I misunderstood the advice on this site. I had read that SI Captcha was recommended & works with s2member. Which is completely true if I’m using the standard vanilla wp login page. I have tried it and si captcha integrates with no issue on a standard wp login page including validation. I think what you’re telling me is that si captcha does not integrate into s2 pro’s inline reg form unless there is some serious work done under the hood. |

Thanks Jason & Cristian. I’ve gone through the info you posted. Some stuff is still not clear to me and I hope you can help. I have used the s2 pro forms shortcode and created an inline reg page. By default the page creates field description verbage including the title “Create Profile”
Once I know that, I can figure out making out other field label/description changes.
Right now it appears as:
Can I change the field order to:
If so, please let me know where and how? Thanks |

Thanks for the link. So are you saying that for the s2 pro login to appear on a wp page I have to add this code to a page ?
Please confirm. |

Thanks Cristian, I need to have the fields in the following order on s2 pro reg form. I know how to add a new field like country. I cannot find info on how to arrange default fields and s2 custom fields in the order I require. How do I do this ? |

Hi Cristian, The most important shortcodes to me would be pro forms related: 1. include reg form inline
2. include profile form inline
3. include lost password form inline
4. include login form inline
I think a complete searchable list like this or a shortcode generator would be a great asset to customers.

Unfortunately my users hate recaptcha which seems the only option s2 pro forms provides. They prefer the simple text captcha that si captcha provides. Therefore I need to add a si captcha to a s2 pro reg form. Can you show me how to do this ? Alternately is there any way to tweak s2’s pro recpatcha to display only 1 word, not 2 words ?

Hi Cristian, Thanks for the reply. Sorry, let me clarify. I do not wish to use the pro login widget. I need the shortcode to add an inline login on a page. I will then call that page from a menu link. So I need the shortcode to add an inline login on a page. |

Thanks very much Philly, your support is incredible! Worked perfectly… I have been trying to figure this out since my trysts with WP-Member plugin. s2 works so much better and this solution really should be added to s2 docu. Everyone will need this.
In case anyone else is following this thread, use wp menus to create 2 menus named : Go to “logged-out-menu” and add your s2 registration page to that menu. |

The site appears to work fine while uploaded to a live server. Logout works fine. But on a local environment using MAMP it is failing. Anyone else seen this issue ? |

Thank you very much. On my theme it appears as:
I was able to change the font color. I thought it was a s2 config but it was more to do with theme. |

Thanks Bruce, I was hoping for something a little less generic. Specifically, how can I change the field font color on a s2 pro inline reg form ? Right now the form is showing up with white field background and white font, so users cannot see what they are typing. Thanks. |

Sure thing, thanks for the assist. Here’s header.php below. The theme is Black Label About the logging out issue – it does not seem theme related as I have tried again with a fresh wp install and default themes and same problem. I’m wondering if it’s a MAMP related thing. I will try publishing the site to a live host and see if the logout issue is resolved. I have not had this happen on live sites in the past.

As I am using MAMP, I have made the required s2 requested change to wp-config.php. No matter which logout method I choose, the site refuses to log me out. Clicking logout under the wp admin bar on top or meta fields widget logout link adds the following to my url:
but nothing happens – I am still logged in. About the logging out issue – it does not seem theme related as I have tried again with a fresh wp install and default themes and same problem.
