Somehow, “required” option is not working for custom fields.

Even if I set them as required, it doesn’t show any error and registration just goes through.

Any idea?

I found out that “required” action is only checked by javascript.
Some other plugin was loading some other javascript and it was blocking it.

Anyway, at least I want non-javascript way to force required fields but is it hard to implement?

Thanks for your inquiry. ~ We appreciate your patience :-)

I’m sorry, but at this time, Registration/Profile Fields configured with s2Member® are validated through JavaScript alone. If you’d like to implement server-side validation for one or more custom fields, you could use Hooks/Filters provided by s2Member®. Please see this article for further details.
