OK dumb question: I have s2member setup in a test environment using Xamp on localhost. I edited my config file so S2 knows its local.

I tried making level4 restriction on posts with all tags, a particular category and then created a post and manually set it to restrict to level4.

1. But then when I use another incognito browser on localhost, not logged into the site, I can access these posts just fine. Am I missing something obvious?

2. What I would like to have happen is that posts that are “restricted” only show me a set number of characters or lines, and then the full post is accessible only be certain members. I’d also like to block comments to non-members. Does that make sense and how can I incorporate?
