s2member on an ipad mini (ios)

I’m building my second site based on s2m, and on this new one as with the previous, it looks like the site is inaccessible with an iPad mini (regular iPads work fine!). Here’s what happens: 1) login screen loads 2) upon submitting, login.php reloads. The sites work fine on the mini outside of all protected areas. Does anyone have any experiences with s2m on this device?
