Hello,

As owner of a web & print media business, I have come across s2member FREE which looks amazing, with a later option to purchase PRO.

Please tell me your thoughts, this is my idea…

I also have BuddyPress installed for a Forum and Member directory etc.

Have Level `0` as a Free level – and have everyone, who wants to be a member of the site to register. (registration page set). Then have them re-directed to a `welcome member`page. (welcome member set)… but, my problem seems to be with the Member Option Page.

At this time, for free access to the buddy press forum, group etc. – I don`t want any one to pay, so why would I need a membership option page… and if I don`t want this, how do I re-direct the people to the Forum section after they Registered.

I also need a way so they can view their own profile details, so maybe this should be the membership options page..

At a later date, I may want members to pay by pay pal or credit cards for web services via the membership section, where they can also retreive their own invoice.

Is this possible and please offer full details. I`ve almost got things set-up but am stuck on the membership option page. Currently when I try to register as a test, nothing happens after clicking Sign Me Up.

Thanks so much.

Hello,

The Membership Options Page is designed to be the page where you display the signup packages for your various levels — it is not the page where members edit their profile (for that, you’ll need to create a separate page and place the profile editor shortcode in there; see Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Member Profile Modifications).

You can use a technique like this to redirect people away from the Membership Options Page.
