Hi,

What I need to do is split my new user registration into two steps.

I would like new members (Level 0 free) to have their welcome page explaining an activation task which they must then confirm they have done by entering an ID number into a custom field. This would then upgrade them to level 1 (still free) where there welcome page would be the main Member Area.

Ideally this would not involve them typing in all their details again, just a single field form with an activate membership button.

Is this possible?

Hi Lee,

Yes, this is possible. However, you’ll need to write a bit of your own PHP code that confirms the ID number and then changes their role (i.e., Level) from s2member_level0 to s2member_level1. This thread on changing roles with PHP should be helpful.
