Hi S2Member,

I recently started working on a clients site that is using S2member. They hadn’t updated the plugin in a long time so I went ahead and did so, but now I am having registration issues. I have tried both the paypal button and pro form but both are having problems.

Paypal button : http://www.seductiveinstinct.com/test6

Payment is processed, but user is not redirected back to the site, and no email is sent

Paypal pro form: http://www.seductiveinstinct.com/registration

I have only tried this form using the paypal gateway, but as soon as I hit submit the screen goes blank.

Please help as soon as possible as I am on a deadline.

Thanks!
-Gambit

I have sent Dashboard and ftp login details through the contact form just in case.

Thanks!

Hi Gambit.

Did you configure/verify the auto-return setting for PayPal? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayPal® PDT / Auto-Return[/hilite]

I see you configured the PayFlow integration, and it seems to be incomplete. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0jOq2MRTVQ

Do you have PayPal Pro PayFlow Edition? If not, then please leave the PayFlow panel empty. Knowledge Base » PayPal® Pro (PayFlow Edition)

I have now cleared the Payflow panel.
The Auto-return settings seem to be correct. I have the return URL to http://www.seductiveinstinct.com/?s2member_paypal_return=1 in the Paypal options, and I have pasted the PDT Identity Token into the S2Member settings.

I am still having the same issues. Paypal button does process payment, but does not lead me back to the site nor does it send me an email with account info. Paypal pro form just goes to a blank screen when submitted.

Please help!

I just checked the IPN history in the PayPal account and it seems like all of the recent notifications have “retrying” as their status instead of “sent”. See screenshot below. Do you know why this may have happened?

Thanks for the update.

I see… Have you verified that the IPN setting is correct then? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayPal® IPN Integration[/hilite]

I’d also contact PayPal to ask them about these “retrying” notifications. What response are they getting from the server that is resulting in a failure that needs a retry?

I have verified that the IPN settings are correct. I went back into the Paypal manager account and realized that the Payflow SDK/API (Full Access) is activated. I have set Payflow settings according to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0jOq2MRTVQ

However, I am still having trouble getting this to work properly. I have tested the Paypal Pro form at http://www.seductiveinstinct.com/registration, and after hitting submit, it just takes me to a blank page and the payment is not processed.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone can login to our wordpress with the account details I have provided through the contact form, and check the S2Member logs to try to deduce the cause of this error.

Thanks

When I submitted the registration pro-form, there seemed to be a 500 error…

[hilite pre_code]
HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
[/hilite]

You could check with your hosting company for more information on that from their logs.

Have you done the troubleshooting steps? I’d start with the theme/plugin conflicts. Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips

I hope that helps. :)
