I have verified that the IPN settings are correct. I went back into the Paypal manager account and realized that the Payflow SDK/API (Full Access) is activated. I have set Payflow settings according to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0jOq2MRTVQ

However, I am still having trouble getting this to work properly. I have tested the Paypal Pro form at http://www.seductiveinstinct.com/registration, and after hitting submit, it just takes me to a blank page and the payment is not processed.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone can login to our wordpress with the account details I have provided through the contact form, and check the S2Member logs to try to deduce the cause of this error.

Thanks

I just checked the IPN history in the PayPal account and it seems like all of the recent notifications have “retrying” as their status instead of “sent”. See screenshot below. Do you know why this may have happened?

I have now cleared the Payflow panel.
The Auto-return settings seem to be correct. I have the return URL to http://www.seductiveinstinct.com/?s2member_paypal_return=1 in the Paypal options, and I have pasted the PDT Identity Token into the S2Member settings.

I am still having the same issues. Paypal button does process payment, but does not lead me back to the site nor does it send me an email with account info. Paypal pro form just goes to a blank screen when submitted.

Please help!

I have sent Dashboard and ftp login details through the contact form just in case.

Thanks!

Thank you.
Yes. It is still valid.

Thanks for the response.

There is more than $5000 in the current funding source and the recurring billing that I’m trying to sign up for is only $20/month …

So, that doesn’t really feel right to me.

Could it be something else?

We tried and got yet another error:

‘TRXRESPMSG’ => ‘Referral: 10422-The customer must return to PayPal to select new funding sources.’,

What does that mean?

I applied this patch just now but I am getting the same error.

We upgraded to v120622.
Unfortunately, while the token error is indeed gone, it has been replaced by another error:
‘TRXRESPMSG’ => ‘Field format error: Invalid PayerID’,

One of our customers received this error when he tried to pay via paypal.
I tried to pay via my own paypal account and got the same error.

Please advise.

Thanks.

We’ve applied the patch and verified that it works.
Thank you very much for fixing this very quickly.
It is very much appreciated.

Cristian,

There doesn’t seem to be any way for us to e-mail you or Jason on this site.
This is kind of a high priority issue for us.
Our business is DOWN until we get a fix for this.
We don’t have the option of using an earlier version of s2Member because PayPal informed us that they are no longer opening “PayPal® Website Payments Standard” accounts and that we have no option but to integrate with PayFlow.
Could you please let us know when we can expect a bug fix?

Thanks,
Beast

David / Cristian

This does seem to be a bug for us as well.
Here’s what I see in my logs …

Notice the EXPDATE.
It’s “0920”.
It should be “0914” because the date entered was 09/2014.

array (
  'RESULT' => '36',
  'RPREF' => 'RZM54B4A9BD3',
  'RESPMSG' => 'Transaction failed: Fail to obtain approval for the online transaction',
  'TRXRESULT' => '24',
  'TRXPNREF' => 'EDVP4C6A4AAD',
  'TRXRESPMSG' => 'Invalid expiration date: 15007-This transaction cannot be processed. Please use a valid credit card.',
  'AVSADDR' => 'Y',
  'AVSZIP' => 'Y',
  'CVV2MATCH' => 'N',
  'HOSTCODE' => '15007',
  'PROCAVS' => 'Y',
  'PROCCVV2' => 'N',
  'TRANSTIME' => '2012-06-06 14:30:57',
  'FIRSTNAME' => 'Alexander',
  'LASTNAME' => 'Ryan',
  'AMT' => '0.99',
  'ACCT' => '6187',
  'EXPDATE' => '0920',
  'CARDTYPE' => '0',
  'IAVS' => 'N',
  '__error' => 'Error #36. Transaction failed: Fail to obtain approval for the online transaction.',
)

Where would I find the s2member payflow log?
I looked under
public_html/wp-content/plugins/s2member-logs
and saw zero files.

We’re getting the same error message…
“Error #36. Transaction failed: Fail to obtain approval for the online transaction.”

However, changing around the date in the method described by David did not result in the transaction going through for us like it did for him.
I tried changing the date from 2014 to 1420 and I ended up getting the same error message.
Could someone please describe what this error message means or point me to some documentation which describes what it means?
I tried this with 2 different credit cards for a recurring billing transaction and got the same error message.

Thanks,
Beast

We are getting exactly the same error.
If this is a bug in S2, is there a work-around … other than having our customers enter a 2 digit date followed by 2 random digits?

This is kind of a big bug.
It would be cool if this were fixed quickly.

Thanks,
Beast
