Hmmm…I’m surprised there’s not a way to do this, although I do understand if it’s just too complicated to offer as an option. Do any membership plugins provide this feature? It seems like allowing a post to be available to members and only available as a one-off to non-members would be a popular need. Isn’t there a way to just make all single-post restricted content available to all paid members?
